About the project

The specific aim of the EYES project (www.skhu.eu) is to make the Slovakian-Hungarian border region a more cohesive and competitive one by improving employment opportunities and supporting institutional and people to people cooperation. The international project is implemented with the partnership of the Budapest Enterprise Agency, the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the Hungarian National Trading House.
The EYES project aims to improve entrepreneurial spirit and skills in Slovakia and Hungary by enhancing cross-border cooperation of business

development organisations and by exchanging good practices and experiences in promoting young entrepreneurs. As a result of the project, young people will be encouraged to start their own business on both sides of the Slovakian-Hungarian border. The idea is to develop and implement a complex out of the box education method which can be multiplicated in both countries and even beyond. A number of cross-border events are organised including competitions for startups and innovative project idea owners in order to reach a critical mass of youth and to develop their entrepreneurial spirit and skills.
